This is normal. Since the Throttle is more sensitive, the wastegates close sooner hence better response.. Better response means more air in system and the bov has to work work when pedal is released

Well, that would be true if it was for a 6 speed MT. I have an automatic so it shouldn't be going off since throttle isn't closing

I'm a automatic as well and I hear it. But mine isn't often, it's more only past a certain amount of throttle.. U might be having surging issues with your menu 11 and 12.9 what do you have them set at

I noticed this as well. Menu 11 set at 2000 is more noticeable than 1000 was. I didn't like 3000 at all.

Automatic with Alpina trans flash here. 11 is set to 1000 and I haven't had that BOV going off during shift problem.

I tried 1000 and wasn't a fan. Initial tip in was too aggressive for my liking. It also made my takeoffs jerky since I have a MT and was so used to the old response. I put it back to 500, the same as <30 versions. 2000 must be stupid aggressive, not to mention 5000.

2000 is pretty jumpy. 3000 I didn't like at all. I have yet to try anything higher, but I do like this new update.
